Commsworld Rapid Business Growth Underpinned by Framework Success

Commsworld, one of the UK’s largest privately owned network providers has continued its rapid success after successfully listing on two major public sector frameworks.

Commsworld has won approval for the services it provides on G-Cloud 10, a procurement framework that has generated over £3billion in contracts since its creation six years ago.

It has also been successfully listed on the Scottish Procurement Telephony Services – Dynamic Purchasing System, which strengthens the firm’s ability to support customers by simplifying access to its extensive portfolio.

Firms must comply with a strict testing process to be included on both frameworks, with Commsworld now able to offer its services to public sector bodies across the UK.

The firms’ position on the framework was strengthened this year thanks to its acquisition of Essential Cloud Solutions (ECS), which saw it add new Cloud and Security services to sit alongside its existing range of connectivity options.

Andy Arkle, Commercial Director at Commsworld, said: “Joining the G-Cloud framework again this year represents another milestone in our growth and cements us as one of the UK’s top service providers.

“Listing on both frameworks ensures we stay on a level footing with all the large national providers within the industry and demonstrates the reliability and quality of the service we are able to provide.

“We offer a unique service within the UK in that our superfast network is complemented with full Microsoft solutions and can offer cyber security, Wi-Fi and IT services.

“So it’s particularly gratifying that our continued improvement and development as a business over the past year has secured our place on these frameworks.”

G-Cloud 10 is a government scheme supported by agreements between the government and a list of approved suppliers.

The benefit of buying a service through a framework is that it is quicker, more cost effective and the suppliers are pre cleared and qualified, while it means that local authorities do not have to go through their own tendering process.

Public sector organisations can use a digital marketplace to access services from different frameworks like G-Cloud, which offers cloud services such as content delivery, networks or accounting software.

2018 has seen Commsworld consolidate an impressive year and cement itself as one of the nation’s leading lights in the telecoms and network communications market.

Its takeover of ECS saw the 19-strong team transfer across to Commsworld and marked a significant step forward for both businesses.

It significantly enhanced the range of services Commsworld provides and allows the company to take its network services to the desktop, with an added layer of security and simplicity for clients.
