Financial Planning & Analysis Manager

Reports to: Chief Financial Officer

Location: Edinburgh / Hybrid

Salary: Dependent on experience

Reporting to the CFO , this is a broad based business partner role in a growing business which means all round capabilities are essential to succeed in the role. Qualified accountant with broad based business savvy and excellent financial modelling ,analytical and communication skills.

• Manage Financial Analyst (PQ) workload and development

• Ownership of Annual Budget and Qtrly Forecast process (Currently CFO)
  • Work closely with Senior Exec team and CFO to solicit key inputs to process
• Own Elements of Mthly Management reporting and analysis
• Ownership of long term 3 statement financial model and enhance functionality
• Supply Chain analysis with cost reduction focus in conjunction with operations
• Maintain customer and supplier contracts database
• Manage Cash forecasting process
• Financial modelling/review for bids as required (in support of / in conjunction with financial analyst)
• Monitor project performance versus plan during implementation and recurring phases
  • Month end project revenue recognition and cost monitoring
• Review major contracts commercial terms and ensure being followed
• Coordinate ESG reporting to LDC (main shareholder)
• Adhoc analysis and financial modelling as required to support the business growth trajectory
  • Key Focus on by product and by customer profitability analysis
  • Support CFO on potential acquisition or exit preparation

• Qualified Accountant with relative PQE
  • Ability to deal with senior executives , challenge
  • Strong technical and financial modelling skills
• Sharp, Inquisitive, analytical, commercially minded, someone who will provide insightful analysis

Location

• Ability to be based at Newbridge office (EH28 8LH) a minimum of 2 days a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays) to meet with finance team and management team members
