Reporting to the Lead Networking Engineer, you will be responsible providing efficient and effective technical support to the company’s clients, assisting them with networking and specifically, firewall issues. You will take ownership of Service Request from inbound Support Calls and Tickets, resolving them within agreed SLA’s and will co-ordinate remote sessions as well as liaise with vendors on more difficult support queries.

You will already be an experienced Service Desk Analyst (Networking) having worked in a company that supports IT services to its clients. The role is very customer focussed so you will have good communication skills, particularly on the telephone. Importantly you will have experience of networking and although not essential, it will be considered highly advantageous if you have previous experience with either supporting or configuring firewalls. Experience with any firewalls will be a big advantage however, specific experience of Cisco Meraki, Firewall security solutions will be highly beneficial. Ideally you will have a supporting Cisco qualification such as CCSA or CCNA and you will have a good general understanding of networking, switching and routing.
Salary: Circa £18,000 to £22,000 p.a dependant on Experience
