Their rapidly expanding organisation now employs in excess of 270 staff, who are based at their 12 acre flagship site in Glasgow and at their sales office in Coventry. In addition to this, they also employ a mobile sales force, demonstrating vehicles throughout the country and are in the process of opening more sites within the UK.


The company is principally made up of two distinct Trading Divisions, Allied Vehicles and Cab Direct.


Overview of Solution


Changes in the motor industry have been a major factor in Allied’s success. Buyers are now more wary of taking the first deal offered they shop around looking for something extra. Allied decided to make it easier for them by improving the customer interface.


This was achieved by creating a fully integrated call centre designed for the motor industry. It enabled them to further develop existing client relationships and prospect for new customers more effectively. Commsworld already had extensive experience in this field and our new Call Centre was online in record time.


Allied’s new communications strategy has been a great success with better client retention, a marked increase in new customer sales and improved bottom line performance.


The Results


Commsworld proposed the deployment of a fully integrated Contact Centre.  This started with 5 agents and grew to over 50 agents dealing with customer enquiries for sales and service.  This allowed Allied to provide outstanding customer service via phone, fax, e-mail and the Internet.
